we absolutely loved our staying at the Beverly Laurel Hotel. The room was great! Very confortable and complete (it had an microwave and coffee machine).The location was also great. We were in a region that was not really in the center, which was very crowded and seemed dangerous, but we still had quick access to all importants tourist locations, including the Disney and Universal parks. Also, the hotel has this diner at the corner, where we had a delicious meal!

Everything! Location, decor, spacious, friendly staff, comfortable bed and a pool. The lift was out of action so we had to walk several flights of stairs, but it was being serviced so it was not a fault of the staff.

Imagine entering a hotel that does not have an elevator and your room is on the second floor, and the receptionist tells you with a mischievous laugh that the elevator will be broken for the next 30 days. And imagine that by paying a huge fee, but your room is not automatically cleaned every day, and the cleaner will come to your room only upon your request and talking to the reception, it is very amazing.In this city, the demand is more than the supply, the number of hotels is small and the number of tourists and travelers is high, so the hotels will bring whatever disaster they want on the travelers.It doesn't matter to the hotel at all what you say, your criticism, your words, they know that the capacity of the rooms is always full, so they look at you with a disrespectful and unfriendly look.The pictures posted on the sites are very different from the reality. Anyway, I had a bad experience and I will never visit this hotel again, even though it doesn't matter to the hotel owners.

We loved the retro vibe of the Beverly Laurel. The room was very funky, it had a round bed and a two person soaking tub which was luxurious. The outdoor pool was also very lovely despite the sun being limited due to the positioning of the pool in the center of the building. We were also obsessed with Swingers Diner that was below the hotel. It was fantastic to have late night eats right next door, we went 3 times in one day (breakfast, lunch and a late night snack).

Despite there being some marginal people in the area the location was good for accessing multiple area around LA. Really comfortable beds. Diner downstairs was great. Parking and valet service is outstanding.

Everything was great, very comfortable beds. Amazing location, you can walk to some interesting famous Hollywood sites.There was a problem with the shower drainage and it was fixed immediately. Would stay again.
